| Rainbow Bridge

Buddy took the journey to Rainbow Bridge about a month ago when he suffered a massive heart attack. He'd been happy, playful and active up to that point, and for that I'm grateful.

Buddy was one of seven puppies I raised after a stray I took in gave birth. I kept him, his sister and his mother, and found good homes for the other five. He was always the happy one who liked to play ball, give me "eight", and would even chase his tightly curled tail to entertain me. He was his mom's best friend, and she's still grieving but we're working through it together. (His sister was his favorite toy - typical brother - so she's not too upset that he's gone!)

Buddy, we'll all meet again on Rainbow Bridge. Until then, play with Hobson, Simon & Khali, and please don't chase the cats.

As Buddy's Aunt, I can confirm that all these things are true. :) What a lovely tribute to such an awesome dog. You're missed, Bud.

I am so sorry for your loss and give his mom a big hug from me. I'm sure his sis misses him in her own way.
I still miss my little Petey even though it's been 4 yrs.
May God be with you in the healing of your hearts.
